Q: How long does a blade or a blade unit last?
A: It depends on how many tapes customer cuts in a day, and what kind of tape they are cutting.
We have some expectations for how long a blade or a blade unit lasts, but it depends on types of machine. Please contact us for the details.
Q: What kind of tapes can it cut?
A: Our products are designed to cut many kinds of tape, however, some of usable tapes may not cut depends on tape manufacturer.
If you have decided what kind of tape to use, please feel free to contact us.
Q: Is there a demo machine for all of products?
A: We have demo machines for ZCUT-3080, ZCUT-3150, ZCUT-3250 at all times but we do not have demo machines for ZCUT-3080, 3150, 3250 which require sample tapes before an order.
Q: What is the difference between ZCUT-7 and ZCUT-9? What is the improvement?
A: There are 6 improvements mainly
First more simple to set a tape.
Second, tape width becomes 60mm.
Third, tape support function enables to keep holding low or non adhesive tapes after the process.
Forth, machine has less chance to get clogged up with tape.
Fifth, supportive stand enables to tilt the machine, so it's easier to cut tape off.
Sixth, enable to put 6 different length into the Memory Function.
Q: We would like to change the Blade Unit. Can we change blade only?
A: When the blade is worn out and cannot cut smoothly; the plastic parts which support the blade is also worn out too. At that moment, whole Blade Unit is needed to exchange.
Q: How long does a motor last?
A: Although it depends on what kind of tape customer cuts, and how many tapes they cut in a day, we designed to cut more than 5 million times per motor.
Q: Can we cut Kapton tape (Polyimide)?
A: There is no problem if the tape has thickness more than 50 microns. In other case, it's also okay to have thickness 35 micron with tape width more than 30 mm. However, some of usable tapes may not cut depends on tape manufacturer. Please contact us for more info.
